hosted in collaboration with the James St precinct in Brisbane & Marie Claire magazine, dunkle authentic was lucky enough to showcase recently at Sage Hotel for an evening pop up.
festivities began earlier in the afternoon when the Marie Claire editorial team joined me in the Style Suite for pre-event makeup. sharing the dunkle authentic story with each gal, popping on their foundation & lipstick of choice, & hearing their encouraging words for the brand felt incredible. the lovely editor Nicky herself picked New York lipstick well shucks.
the pop up started at 6pm with a q & a session at Sage Hotel with the gorgeous Tess Alexander. prompted with a question about creating my foundations, I began explaining how I love simplicity & wanted to craft a range of colours for skin tones all around the world. I could see the eyes light up around the room as I continued to describe the quality ingredients, & sure enough (still to my humble surprise), there was a line up to get matched.

while my lipsticks are quite handsome (biased) & often take center stage, this event sparked a fresh wave of interest in my foundations... perhaps an invitation to share more of how each shade came to be.
needless to say, it was magic.
