How do I choose my Foundation shade?

I only see four Foundation shades, will they match my skin? 
The Foundations are sheer coverage, allowing your natural skin colours to come through. Each shade will naturally self-adjust to your skin tone as your lightly buff the product across your skin. Read through the Foundation Shade Guide for assistance in choosing your Foundation shade, or email hello@dunkleauthentic.com for a personal recommendation.

Can I return or exchange a Foundation for a better skin tone match?

Will the plant oil and mango seed butter base of the Foundation be too oily for my skin?
The Foundation suits all skin types. There is an oil-absorbing mineral called silica in the formula to create a balanced balmy finish on the skin.

Will the balm Foundation melt in hot climates? 
The Foundation formula contains a hard plant wax called candelilla wax that gives structure to the balm, keeping it solid through warm summer months. Be sure to store your Dunkle products in a cool, dry environment. 

What is the difference between the Face Oil and the Cleansing Oil?
The Face Oil is a delicate blend of Queensland olive oil with precious organic Bulgarian rose otto, designed to nourish and stay on the skin. The Cleansing Oil features a rich, heavier texture from the organic castor seed oil, designed to bind to makeup on the skin and then be smoothed off. 

 

What is the use by date for my product?
All Dunkle products should be used within one year of opening to maintain freshness and integrity of the natural ingredients.

Are your products tested for safety?
Yes, we take quality control seriously and regularly send samples for third-party laboratory testing. We also continuously monitor quality control samples in-house. Learn more about our Raw Materials.

Are your products vegan?
Yes, all Dunkle products are vegan and only tested on humans. Learn more about our Raw Materials.

Are your products gluten-free?
All Dunkle products are plant and mineral based, and are not derived from or processed with gluten raw materials, however they have not been specifically tested for gluten traces.

Are your products safe to use while pregnant?
All of our products are gentle and soothing to use while pregnant (Founder Molly Stephenson used them throughout both of her pregnancies), however we recommend discussing your personal circumstances with your health care provider prior to using our products while pregnant. 

How do you source your raw materials?
